Back to School Luau for Backpacks Project:
St. John’s hosts an annual luau fundraiser for backpacks. This is one of our largest projects taking several months of planning, involving members of our congregation coming together to organize, plan and host this event. Over 100 items are donated and auctioned off to enable the purchase of backpacks complete with the necessary school supplies for a successful beginning of the school year. The backpacks are distributed to the students at the Fallbrook Food Pantry. All students were are given an age appropriate new book donated by Patty C. |
