St. John's Episcopal Church is Supporting
PENDLETON COMMUNITY SERVICE FUND (PCSF) are a volunteer organization that picks up good quality furniture & housewares. We give it to needy military & veteran families for free. We do not sell your donations.
PCSF started in 2004 as the first Rotary Club ever chartered on a military base. Their focus was helping families aboard Camp Pendleton. Over the years, Rotary Camp Pendleton and its IRS approved charitable affiliate, Pendleton Community Service Fund, implemented projects in partnership with other Rotary clubs, the residents of La Costa Glen Retirement Community and other donors. PCSF Generation-to-Generation program picks-up lightly used furniture and housewares from veterans, Rotarians, and supporters of the military – like St. John's, a designated Military Friendly Church. Donations are stored at the Warrior Warehouse on Camp Pendleton. Every Friday morning, we open the warehouse so that young families can select from a wide assortment of goods – including baby products, glassware, linens, pots and pans all the way to high-end furniture – free of charge. PCSF rules: “Take what you need – but not everything that you want."
