It was a special Sunday at St. John's when parishioners brought their pets to be blessed by Father Sanders. The annual "Blessing of the Pets" is held on the Sunday close to the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi, patron saint of animals. It's a reminder that all of God's creatures should be respected and loved.

After enjoying some delicious ice cream, everyone gathered around much like they did in the early church to talk about what the prophets of old, Jesus and the apostles said about life and how we can apply it to our lives... the best topping of the evening!

Our first service at our new location.

After many months of worshiping at All Saints in Vista, St. John's has finally returned to the town where we began one hundred and sixteen years ago!

Many thanks to All Saints, as well as St. Peter's Catholic Church in Fallbrook for their generosity.

Steve Wood and eager students.
